日ならずして功を竣（を）へ終に十八の坊舎をも左右に列し大 伽藍（がらん）の

せりしかるに本尊薬師如来及び慈恵（じゑ）大師の木像等のみ僅（わづ）かに
此 災（わざはひ）を脱（だつ）せり茲（こゝ）に清眼（せいがん）僧都深く此事を悲（かなし）み当寺再建の
志願をおこされしに仏力の加被（かひ）も空（むな）しからず延文二年に至つ
て又堂宇の結構（けつかう）頗（すこぶ）る古に復（ふく）して壮麗（さうれい）を尽（つく）せり故に清眼僧
都を以中興の開山とすさて当寺 眼科（がんか）の一流天下に冠（くわん）たるもの
は僧都常に薬師仏を信仰（しんかう）する事大方ならざりしに或夜 夢中（むちう）
に如来告玉はく汝我を奉ずる事こゝに年有り今汝が為に希（き）

Deeply moved and impressed to his core, he hurriedly examined it and found it contained miraculous ophthalmological techniques. When he immediately tried these techniques, their efficacy was divine
