漕出る津島の渡りほと遠みあとこそかすめ雪の島松 藤原基俊

伊勢人はひかことしけりつしまより甲斐川行は泉野の原 鴨長明

さして物をおもふとなしにみなれ棹みなれぬ浪に袖はぬらしつ

正一位津島牛頭天王社《割書：同村／向（むかへ）島に鎮座本国帳に正一位津島牛頭天王と｜見え元亀二年書写の国府宮本に正一位上と載たり》
当社は人皇七台 孝霊（かうれい）天王四十五年 素戔嗚尊（そさのをのみこと）の和魂（にぎみたま）
韓郷（からくに）の島《割書：書紀集解に韓郷の｜島は新羅国を云と見えたり》より帰朝まし〳〵先／西海（さいかい）対馬（つしま）に
留り此所に年を経給ひ其後 欽明（きんめい）天皇元《割書：己》未年此神島
に光臨（くわうりん）し給ふ《割書：塩尻に社記を引て 嵯峨帝の御宇社を建とあり しかれば弘仁年｜中の造営なるべしとしるせりされどこは修造をいへる なるべし》
故に旧名の藤波の里を改て津島と号せり《割書：対馬と津島と古（いにしへ）通ひ｜て用ふればしか名付し》

なき蛙は騒ぐ気はなし取り越す棹の雫袖にかかりたれば》
さして物を思うとなしに見慣れ棹見慣れぬ浪に袖は濡らしつ
《渡りはつれば尾張の国に移りぬ云々》

Without particularly thinking of anything, my sleeves are wetted by unfamiliar waves on this familiar pole

Shōichii Tsushima Gozu Tennō Shrine《Same village. Enshrined on Mukai Island. It appears in the Honkokuchō as Shōichii Tsushima Gozu Tennō, and is recorded as Shōichii-jō in the Kokufu-miya manuscript copied in Genki 2》
This shrine dates to the 45th year of Emperor Kōrei, the 7th human emperor, when the gentle spirit of Susanoo-no-mikoto, upon returning from Kankoku Island《According to Shoki Shūkai, Kankoku Island refers to Silla》, first stayed at Tsushima in the western seas, spending years at this place, and later in the first kinoto-hitsuji year of Emperor Kinmei, manifested divine presence on this sacred island.《Shiojiri quotes shrine records stating that the shrine was built during Emperor Saga's reign, suggesting construction during the Kōnin era, though this likely refers to repairs》
Therefore, the old name Fujinami-no-sato was changed to Tsushima.《Since Tsushima and Tsushima were used interchangeably in ancient times, it was so named》
Initially it was enshrined at Imori地, but《According to Namiai-ki, during Emperor Kinmei's reign, light appeared on Nakashima in Ama District, and when observed, it was among willow and bamboo》
