鏡池山瑞泉寺《割書:船戸にあり、浄土宗西山派、京都光明寺禅林寺両末》開基の年紀は詳らかでないが、もと天王島《割書:今の字を瑠璃小路という》にあったが、永正十四年中興日仙和尚が今の地に移した。そのかみ正二位大納言良王君が当所奴野城に入られたが、明応元年三月五日に薨じ給い《割書:御年七十八》、これを此の寺に葬った。

Tsunekawa Sakyō-dayū Nobunori {{Side note: These four are called the Four Families of the Nitta house}}, Hotta Owari-no-kami Masashige, Hirano Monto-no-kami Naritada, Hattori Iga-no-kami Munezumi, Suzuki Ukyō-no-suke Shigemasa, Mano Shikibu-shōyū Michisuke, Mitsuga Daizen-no-suke Tamenaga, Kawamura Sagami-no-kami Hidenobu {{Side note: These seven are called the Seven Name-Families}}. These eleven families

Kyōchi-san Zuisen-ji {{Side note: Located in Funado, Jōdo sect Seizan branch, affiliated with both Kōmyō-ji and Zenrin-ji temples in Kyoto}} The exact year of its founding is unclear, but it was originally located on Tennō Island {{Side note: The present area name is Ruri-kōji}}, but in the 14th year of Eishō, the restoration monk Nichisen moved it to its present location. In ancient times, when Senior Second Rank, Major Counselor Prince Ryōō entered Nunono Castle in this area, he passed away on March 5th of the 1st year of Meiō {{Side note: at age 78}} and was buried at this temple.
The temple took its name from the prince's posthumous title of Zuisen-ji-dono {{Side note: According to Namiai-ki, Meiō 3rd year}}
