広小路 むかしは那古野の町はづれにして是より南の方は
田野なりし故今も開帳札（くわいちやうふだ）など多くこゝに建（たつ）るは其 余（な）
波（ごり）なり東に庚申堂西に柳（やなぎの）薬師などありてはなし物
まね諸見せ物 居合抜（ゐあひぬき）の歯（は）みがき売（うり）など常にむれ居
て往来人の足をとゞむ礼わき夏月 納涼（すゞみ）の頃は貴賎（きせん）袖（そで）を
つらねて群集（くんじゆ）し辻売（つじうり）の夜店（よみせ）茶（ちや）店の灯火（ともしび）赫奕（くわくやく）として
遊興（ゆうきやう）に夜の更（ふく）るを知らず実に夜陰（やいん）の壮観（さうくわん）なり

広小路 昔は那古野の町はずれであって、ここより南の方は田野であった故に、今も開帳札などが多くここに建つのはその名残である。東に庚申堂、西に柳の薬師などがあって、話芸師や物まね師、諸々の見せ物、居合抜きの歯磨き売りなどが常に群れ集まって、往来人の足を止める。とりわけ夏月、納涼の頃は貴賎が袖を連ねて群集し、辻売りの夜店、茶店の灯火が明々と輝いて、遊興に夜の更けるのを知らない。実に夜陰の壮観である。

Hirokōji - In the past, this was on the outskirts of Nagono town, and since the area to the south was rice fields, the fact that many kanchō-fuda (temple exhibition notices) are still erected here is a remnant of those times. To the east is Kōshin Hall, and to the west is Yanagi Yakushi, where storytellers, mimics, various shows, and sellers of tooth powder who perform sword-drawing demonstrations constantly gather in crowds, stopping passersby. Particularly during the summer months, in the cool evening hours, people of all social classes walk arm in arm in crowds, and the lights of street vendors' night stalls and tea shops shine brilliantly, with people so absorbed in their entertainment that they lose track of the passing night. It is truly a magnificent nighttime spectacle.
Koshōzan Shinpuku-in Temple <<Located west of Hirokōji Honmachi-dōri, of the Rinzai sect, commonly called Yanagi Yakushi. There is a single willow tree within the gate, and the principal image, Yakushi Nyorai, is carved from willow wood. Every year from May to July there are night exhibitions that are truly bustling>>
Asahi Shinmei Shrine <<Located east of the same Shichiken-chō>> The main shrine enshrines Amaterasu Ōmikami and Amenokoyane-no-mikoto in two seats as joint deities. This shrine was originally located in Asahi village in Kasugai District, but after the capital transfer in Keichō 16 (1611), it was moved to this location. ○Annual Festival <<September 15th: Kagura dance; September 16th: Yudate (boiling water ritual). The parishioners' lantern offerings are decorated with woolen cloth and silk fabric mizuhiki cords, and the kasaboko floats outside the gate display extreme magnificence.
