【上段】
○鸚鵡（オウム）はよく言葉を話す鳥
である。白と青色で、また五
色のものもあり、青い羽と赤い
嘴を持つ。外国の鳥である。
○竹鶏（ヤマシギ）はシャコに似て
小さく、褐色で
まだら模様に赤い。
尾がなく、アリを食べる。
水辺に住む。
○鸜鵒（ハハチョウ）は形がカラス
に似て小さく、よく人の
言葉を真似する。これも外国の鳥
である。
○蝙蝠（コウモリ）は形がネズミに
似て、翼は紙を張った
ようなものである。
夏から秋の終わりまで、

It lives near water.

it flies around every night
