It is an animal that
sleeps well.
It is said to eat
all bad
dreams, therefore
people draw it on pillows
and call them
baku pillows.
○The elephant is a
large beast from foreign lands.
Its trunk and tusks are long.
It eats food through its
mouth
and drinks water through its
trunk. It gives birth
once every three
years.
It lives on great mountains and high
peaks.
People take its tusks
to make all kinds of
vessels and objects.
This is called
ivory.
