現代語訳
増勤方に転じられた件については、主立った評議が決まらなければまとまらない儀もあるであろう。もっとも正玄・三郎兵衛が相勤めた形もあるので、そのようなことも含めて御大老を仰せ付けられ、御年来の義でもあるので、万事御補助し、御家老並びに若年寄とも御用向きの義について評議司を相勤めるべき旨、恭定様の御書付を貞昭様が御直に御渡しになった件。
一、同日、御大老を仰せ付けられた件については、平日の備えも違費もある儀なので、御役料千五百石を下し置かれ、三千石高に成し下される旨を仰せ出された件。
一、文化元年子年三月、欽文様が御宮参りをされて御帰りの節、御立ち寄りになり、五島鯣五把・金五百疋を下し置かれた件。
一、同年五月、この度編集の日新館童子訓が御成就になった所、右の御用の発端より掛かりとして、あれこれと辛労し、宜しく出来上がった段

Regarding the transfer to increased duties, there would be matters that could not be settled without determining the principal deliberations. However, since there were precedents of Shōgen and Saburōbei serving in such capacity, taking all these factors into consideration, he was appointed as Great Elder (Ō-rō). As this was also a matter befitting his advanced years, he was to assist in all matters and serve as deliberation officer regarding official duties together with the House Elders and Junior Councilors, as stated in a written directive from Yasutsune-sama that Sadaaki-sama personally presented to him.
1. On the same day, regarding his appointment as Great Elder, since there would be different preparations and expenses from ordinary days, he was granted a role stipend of 1,500 koku and his stipend was increased to 3,000 koku.
