御意之上御羽織壱つ 御手自被下置候
事
一同年於江戸表五月十一日七月十九日左
之通両度
貞昭様私御長屋へ被為 入候事
一同年十一月交代罷下候節於 御前
御懇之 御意之上 御手自御羽織
被下置別而御供番御使にて御肴被下
置且御料理被下置従
貞昭様も定例拝領物之外 思召を以
裏付御上下一具於 御休息之間被下之
於奥硯屏一つ御手自被下之御料理頂
戴被 仰付御供方御使を以粕漬蚫一桶
被下置候事
一同年十二月近頃腰痛致候旨被為
聞召候所出火之節罷出候而は馬之乗
下等別而難儀に有之彼是心遣も可致
思召火元へ罷出候儀は御免被成候旨被
仰出候事

現代語訳
御意の上、御羽織一つを御手ずから下し置かれた件。
一、同年、江戸表において五月十一日・七月十九日、左の通り両度、貞昭様が私の御長屋へ入らせられた件。
一、同年十一月、交代で罷り下った節、御前において御懇ろの御意の上、御手ずから御羽織を下し置かれ、別して御供番・御使にて御肴を下し置かれ、かつ御料理を下し置かれた。貞昭様からも定例の拝領物の外、思し召しを以て裏付御上下一具を御休息の間において下され、奥にて硯屏一つを御手ずから下され、御料理を頂戴するよう仰せ付けられ、御供方・御使を以て粕漬蚫一桶を下し置かれた件。
一、同年十二月、近頃腰痛をしている旨をお聞きになった所、出火の節に罷り出ては、馬の乗り降り等が別して難儀であり、あれこれと心遣いもするであろうとの思し召しから、火元へ罷り出ることは御免しになる旨を仰せ出された件。

Following his gracious words, he personally bestowed one haori (formal jacket).
1. In the same year, at Edo, on the 11th day of the 5th month and the 19th day of the 7th month, Sadaaki-sama visited his private residence twice as described below.
1. In the 11th month of the same year, when he returned from his tour of duty, in the lord's presence, following kind words, a haori was personally bestowed upon him. Additionally, delicacies were granted through attendants and messengers, and a meal was provided. Sadaaki-sama also, beyond the regular bestowals, graciously granted a lined kamishimo (formal court dress) in the rest chamber, personally bestowed an inkstone screen in the inner quarters, commanded him to partake of the meal, and through attendants and messengers, granted one tub of pickled abalone in sake lees.
1. In the 12th month of the same year, when it was heard that he had been suffering from lower back pain recently, considering that going out during fires would make mounting and dismounting horses particularly difficult and would cause him various concerns, it was proclaimed that he was excused from responding to fire scenes.
