一同三亥年五月
貞昭様御立寄被遊候節手聞二通
被下置候事
一同年九月御知行三百石被下置御側
之列被 仰付御側之御番并 御名代月番
等之勤被 仰付且三郎兵衛兼而地下筋
為見習度内願も有之由候間音用之透に
郡役所へ罷出折々て手軽に郷村へ出役致郡
奉行御代官之勤をも及見聞凡而地下
向之様子見習候様被 仰出候事

青木組提沢村へ出役致罷在候事

仰せ付けられた事
一、同三年亥年五月、貞昭様がお立ち寄りになられた節、手聞二通を下し置かれた事
一、同年九月、御知行三百石を下し置かれ、御側の列を仰せ付けられ、御側の御番並びに御名代月番等の勤めを仰せ付けられ、且つ三郎兵衛はかねてより地下筋を見習いたいとの内願もあったということなので、用事の合間に郡役所へ出向き、時々手軽に郷村へ出役して、郡奉行・御代官の勤めをも見聞し、すべて地下向きの様子を見習うよう仰せ出された事
一、文化元年子年十二月、御代官見習いの形をもって南青木組提沢村へ出役し在勤した事

1. In the 5th month of the 3rd year of the same era (Kansei 13, 1801), when Lord Sadaaki made a visit, he was granted two written commendations (tekiki).
1. In the 9th month of the same year, he was granted a fief of 300 koku and appointed to the ranks of御側 (gozoku, lord's attendants). He was assigned duties including guard duty for the lord's attendants and monthly representative duties. Additionally, since Saburōbei had previously submitted a private petition expressing his desire to learn about local administration, he was ordered to visit the district office during free time and occasionally go out to villages for easy duty, observing and learning the work of district magistrates and deputy officials, and studying all aspects of local governance.
