相勤めるよう仰せ出された事
一、同年七月、御前において家柄の者であり、祖父三郎兵衛の有功の末ということもあり格別に当務を御赦免され、格式は山崎小助の上に仰せ付けられ、寺社・御なだ名代皆ともに若年寄と差し合う節には相勤め、御在国には夜居の間へ着座し、御目見の節には皆ともに一同罷り出で、会所へも出坐し毎度罷り出で見習うよう仰せ出され、御次において纏馬印を御免しになる旨が仰せ出された事
一、同年八月、会津において乗物を御免しになった事
一、同月、御前において若年寄を仰せ付けられ、御次で御用の書に加判を仰せ付けられ、纏馬印、会津において乗物を御免され、同心料を下し置かれる旨が仰せ出された事

1. In the 7th month of the same year, in the lord's presence, recognizing that he was from a distinguished family lineage and considering the meritorious service of his grandfather Saburōbei, he was specially pardoned from his current duties and granted a rank above Yamazaki Kosuke. He was assigned to serve alongside others when there were conflicts with wakadoshiyori (junior councilors) regarding temple and shrine matters and ceremonial representatives, to be seated in the evening quarters when the lord was in the domain, to appear together with others during formal audiences, to attend the meeting hall, and to observe regularly as part of his training. It was announced that he was granted permission for battle standards and horse insignia at the antechamber.
1. In the 8th month of the same year, he was granted permission to use a palanquin in Aizu.
