一 安永二年巳年閏三月、公事所物書見習いに召し出された。
一 同三年午年三月、小嶋伴蔵の御穿鑿に精を出して勤めたので、御褒美として銀一両を下し置かれた。
一 同年四月、親の願いの通り御擬作を召し上げられ、七石を下され、外に三石の御役料にて公事所物書を仰せ付けられた。
一 同六年酉年十二月、御穿鑿四十口余りになったところ、よく勤めたので、別段の訳をもって御褒美として金二分を下し置かれた。
一 同九年子年四月、御穿鑿数十口、大赦の赦願も百四十九通、精を出して勤めた。

One: In the 3rd month of the same 3rd year, year of the horse (1774), worked diligently on the investigation of Kojima Banzō, and for this was granted a reward of one ryō of silver.
One: In the 4th month of the same year, his father's resignation was accepted as requested, and he was granted 7 koku, plus an additional 3 koku as official salary, and appointed as clerk of the judicial office.
One: In the 12th month of the same 6th year, year of the rooster (1777), having handled over 40 investigation cases well, was granted a special reward of 2 bu of gold.
One: In the 4th month of the same 9th year, year of the rat (1780), worked diligently on dozens of investigation cases and 149 petitions for pardons under the great amnesty.
