付存寄申上御虚御病ニハ決而不被為在
全御積熟之御症と申上候処信濃守様

上候処御相応被遊御快気被遊候
但御床上ケ為御祝儀
蓮受院様信濃守様より銀子三枚ツヽ

御内座へ召され御病症委細に御尋ねを成され候につき
存じ寄りを申し上げ御虚の御病には決して在らせられず
全く御積熱の御症と申し上げ候処信濃守様
その方存じ寄りは外々の者とは相違にて見
込みもっともの様に思し召され候これに依りその方存じ寄り通り
調合を致し差し上げ候様仰せ聞かされ候薬を差し
上げ候処御相応に快気を遊ばされ候
ただし御床上げのため御祝儀として
蓮受院様信濃守様より銀子三枚ずつ
下し置かれ候事

to the inner chamber where detailed inquiries were made about the illness,
I reported my observations that this was definitely not a case of general weakness
but entirely a condition of accumulated heat. When I reported this, Lord Shinano-no-kami said
"Your opinion differs from that of the others, and your
assessment seems most reasonable." Therefore, he ordered me to prepare
medicine according to my opinion. When I presented the medicine,
[the patient] recovered appropriately.
As a celebration for recovery from illness,
both Lord Renjuin and Lord Shinano-no-kami each granted
three pieces of silver
