Due to Kinbun-sama's serious illness, he attended continuously from New Year's Day until the intercalary second month, serving without interruption.
However, for his diligent efforts during the aforementioned illness, although he should have been granted gifts, as none were available at hand, he was granted five pieces of silver and various other items on multiple occasions through [the lord's] gracious consideration.
