或は紅（くれない）の糸（いと）すしを引有痘中に丁を発したるなり
急に針刺て悪血を去べし跡へ雄黄（おわう）紫草二色

穴俗にうら三里と云以上三ヶ所より三 稜針（れうしん）を以て

【右丁】
あるいは紅色の糸筋を引いているのは、痘中に丁（悪性の痘疹）を発したものである。急いで針を刺して悪血を除去すべきである。その後に雄黄と紫草の二色を細末にして傷口をふさぐべきである。貫膿の時にもあるものである。
貫膿・結痂の内に痘毒が眼に入って星のようなものが出る、あるいは黒目が赤くなって後で曇って見えるものである。大杼の穴に灸をすべきである。治るのである。外に悪いことがあれば少し遅くても灸治療をすべきである。
結痂の時：痘癩といって手足の指の感覚がなくなって落ちるものである。不治の症である。落ちかかりの時は血を増す療治によって肌肉を活かし筋骨を補えば良いこともある。
【左丁】
○凶症がある。手の肘の曲がり具合、尺沢の穴とその辺りに紫色あるいは赤い筋が出るものは重症と知るべきである。急いで針を刺せ。
尺沢とこの肘の曲がりの委中の穴と足のふくらはぎの承山の穴、俗に裏三里というが、以上三ヶ所より三稜針をもって浮血を刺し取るべきである。深く刺してはならない。
○出痘して蚕種・蚊咬といって蚊の噛み跡やひえの粥のようなものは悪い。夾疹・夾斑といって麻疹や発斑が混じったものである。ゆえに難治の症とする。細かなものでも南蛮黍の粒を撫でるのと同じようにしっかりとするのは良い。俗にいばらものという。

During scab formation: "Pox leprosy" where fingers and toes lose sensation and fall off. This is an incurable condition. When they are about to fall off, there may be good results if the flesh is revitalized and muscles and bones are supplemented through blood-increasing treatments.

○There are ominous symptoms. When purple or red streaks appear at the elbow bend, around the Chize acupoint and its vicinity, know this to be severe. Quickly apply needles.
At Chize and this elbow bend's Weizhong acupoint, and the Chengshan acupoint on the calf, commonly called "inner sanli" - from these three locations, use a three-edged needle to pierce and extract floating blood. Do not pierce deeply.
○When pox erupts resembling silkworm eggs or mosquito bites, or things like barnyard millet porridge, these are bad. "Mixed rash" and "mixed spots" refer to cases mixed with measles and eruptions. Therefore, these are considered difficult-to-treat conditions. Even fine ones that feel firm like touching grains of corn are good. Commonly called "thorn things."
