呑すへし痘出る事稀なり
一方
生地黄一味 濃（こ）く煎し児産れて一声も啼（なか）ぬ
内に二 口（くち）三口用ゆへし其子無病にて痘疹を免る

鶏（にはとり）の卵（たまご）の内へ頸（くび）すじ白（しろ）き蚯蚓（みゝず）一 条（すじ）を入 立春（りつしゆん）
の日 煮熟（にじゆく）し児に喰しむればほうさうかろし
世上試み来る妙（めう）方

○白楊（まるはやなきの）蠧虫（むし）豆油（しやうゆ）に浸（ひた）し焙（あぶ）り食せしむ痘出て用ゆれば
かゆきを治し毒を消す常（つね）にさい〳〵喰すへし
○鼠（ねつみ）の肉（み）を豆油に漬（ひた）し焙りさい〳〵喰すれは痘軽し
予も二方とも試しに効を覚へたり
○子規（ほとゝきす）の黒焼を用て痘かろし予か父効を記せり
○又 草薢（ところ）を煑て汁を呑しめ并浴すれはよし和州
南都（なんと）には専ら是を用ゆるよし聞（きゝ）伝へぬ
○又 枳梖子（けんほなし）を喰せしむるもよし梨子（なし）の木（き）の枝（ゑだ）を煎
して呑しむるも痘をかろからしむといへり
現代語訳
【右丁】
飲むべきである。痘疹が出ることは稀である。
一方
生地黄一味を濃く煎じ、児が産まれて一声も泣かない内に二口三口用いるべきである。その子は無病にて痘疹を免れる。
一方
鶏の卵の内へ首筋が白い蚯蚓一匹を入れ、立春の日に煮熟し、児に食べさせれば痘瘡は軽くなる。

【左丁】
○白楊の蠧虫を醤油に浸し、焙って食べさせる。痘疹が出て用いれば痒みを治し毒を消す。常に細かく刻んで食べるべきである。
○鼠の肉を醤油に漬け、焙って細かく刻んで食べれば痘疹は軽い。私も二方とも試しに効果を覚えた。
○子規の黒焼を用いて痘疹は軽くなる。私の父が効果を記した。
○また野老を煮て汁を飲ませ、並びに浴すればよい。和州南都には専らこれを用いるということを聞き伝えている。
○また枳椇子を食べさせるのもよい。梨の木の枝を煎じて飲ませるのも痘疹を軽くさせるという。

○Soak white poplar wood-boring insects in soy sauce, roast them and make the child eat them. If used when pox erupts, it cures itching and eliminates toxin. They should always be finely chopped and eaten.
○If you soak rat meat in soy sauce, roast it and eat it finely chopped, smallpox will be mild. I have also tried both methods and experienced their effectiveness.
○Using charred cuckoo makes smallpox mild. My father recorded its effectiveness.
○Also, boiling wild yam and making them drink the juice, as well as bathing in it, is good. I have heard that this is exclusively used in Nanto, Yamato Province.
