其まゝやむ菓子盆（くわしぼん）の底面（うらそこ）を爪（つめ）にて掻（かき）てやむも有
○痘瘡水もりして目戸（まど）をふさぐ事有むせては眼（がん）
中に星なと出る也天 目（もく）に汲（くみ）立の清（きよ）き水を十分に
入て其児の寝所の入口につり置（おく）べし少しは見ゆる也
○眶（まぶた）に紅粉（べに）を濃く水にてときぬるべし目に入ぬためなり
顔内へぬるはあと
○痘瘡の痕（あと）つかぬやうには痂落て直に酥油（そゆ）を塗（ぬる）べ
し山 吹（ふき）の花（はな）かげぼしを胡麻（ごま）の油（あぶら）にてねり付べし

そのまま止む。菓子盆の裏底を爪で掻いて止むこともある。
○痘瘡で水がたまって目が塞がることがある。そうなると眼中に星などが出るのである。天目茶碗に汲み立ての清い水を十分に入れて、その子の寝所の入口に吊り置くべきである。少しは見えるようになる。
○まぶたに紅を濃く水で溶いて塗るべきである。目に入らないためである。顔内に塗るのは痕が残るからである。
○痘瘡の痕がつかないようにするには、痂が落ちて直ちに酥油を塗るべきである。山吹の花を陰干ししたものを胡麻油で練って付けるべきである。
○疱瘡の間に蒸れて虱や蛆などが発生する時は、

○弟子が言うには「右の件の方法を余すところなく理解いたしました。お尋ねしますが、世人が海胆殻を用いて妙なる効果があることを知っています。しかしながらその効果がないのはなぜでしょうか」
師が答えて言うには「必ず難治の時においては海胆殻も治すことはできない。世の親たる人は重篤になって高価な薬に頼むが、誠に渇してから井戸を掘るようなものではないか。不治の症に一、二分の薬ないし五、六分用いても、その危険を転じて良い兆候とすることは

When people who are parents rely on expensive medicines when the condition becomes severe, is this not truly like digging a well when already thirsty? Even if one uses one or two portions of medicine, or even five or six portions for incurable symptoms, to turn that danger into good signs
