現代語訳
ただし湯殿道具類は木地溜塗以外は一切してはならないこと。
一、夜着蒲団或いは貝桶挟箱の覆いに唐織金入の類を用いてはならない。長持屏風箱等の覆いは絹布又は革を用いるべきこと。
一、婚姻の行列の供、乗物は十挺を超えてはならないこと。
一、祝儀の饗応はいよいよ近例に従い、その内菜数等を省略すべし。常々の参会は大身であっても二汁六菜を超えてはならない。ただし香の物も共に右の数に含むものとする。
総じて吸物肴は料理の菜数に準じて減少すべきこと。
一、婚姻祝儀物の取り交わしは、近年礼物について仰せ出された趣旨に準じて斟酌すべきこと。
右の品々は万石以上でもその分限相応を計って取り用いるべきである。

However, for bathhouse utensils, nothing other than plain wood with tame-nuri lacquer shall be permitted.
1. Tang brocade with gold thread and similar materials shall not be used for covers of night clothes, bedding, shell buckets, or document boxes. Covers for long chests, folding screen boxes, etc. shall use silk cloth or leather.
1. For wedding processions, the retinue and palanquins shall not exceed ten units.
1. For celebratory banquets, recent precedents should be followed even more strictly, and the number of dishes should be reduced. For regular gatherings, even high-ranking individuals shall not exceed two soups and six dishes. Pickled vegetables are included in this count.
