友》殿ゟ松平加賀守 殿留守居
御呼出左之通御書付を以被申渡候由加賀守殿留守居ゟ廻
達有之
妾を妻に仕候儀猥にハ有之間敷事ニ候得共
若品々有之及其儀候ハヽ向後万石以上ハ月番
老中其外者面々之頭支配江可被達置候無左
候而者妻之忌服又ハ養母等之忌服まきらハし
く候ニ付申通候

一同月十二日是迄盆中水向両銀弐枚被供候分者銀壱枚銀壱

七月六日 重行書判
一、七月九日 御用番安藤対馬守信友殿より松平加賀守殿の留守居が呼び出され、左の通りの書付を以て申し渡された由、加賀守殿留守居より回達があった。
「妾を妻にする儀は、みだりにあってはならない事であるが、もし様々な事情があってその儀に及ぶ場合は、今後万石以上は月番老中、その他は面々の頭支配へ届け出るべきである。そうでなければ、妻の忌服又は養母等の忌服と紛らわしくなるため、申し通すものである。」
右の通り寄々申し通すべし。以上

一、同月十二日 これまで盆中の水向けに銀二枚を供えていた分は銀一枚、銀一枚を供えていた分は金二百疋を供える筈。御香典もこれに準じて取り扱うべき旨を、御奏者番菅沼与三へ御家老が申し渡した。
一、同月十四日 運正寺において、昨十三日晩より今朝まで清照院様十三回御忌の御法事が執行された。

1. July 9th: The Edo residence keeper of Lord Matsudaira Kaga-no-kami was summoned by Goyōban Andō Tsushima-no-kami Nobutomo, and the following directive was issued through a written notice. This was circulated from Lord Kaga-no-kami's residence keeper:
"Taking a concubine as a wife should not be done carelessly, but if various circumstances lead to such matters, henceforth those with ten thousand koku or more must report to the monthly duty rōjū, and others must report to their respective supervisory heads. Without doing so, it would cause confusion with mourning periods for wives or adoptive mothers, etc., hence this notification."
The above should be communicated to all concerned parties. End.
