現代語訳
碓氷においては江戸で内藤丹波守殿との引き替えが済み、信州福島へ小栗而治右衛門を以て指し遣わされ、御書並びに判鑑を持参して引き替えが済み、御国へ帰参した。
一、十月二日、初姫様の御様体に付き召し寄せられた京都医師上田養安が今日福井に着き、御部屋へ参上して御様体を伺った。
一、同月九日、御使者として御留守居宮北十郎左衛門《割書：定由》を以て、御先代の通り御国産の塩鮎子籠を献上された。右の御披露が済んだ後、御奉書が御用番安藤対馬守《割書：重行》殿より来た。

At Usui, the exchange with Lord Naitō Tamba-no-Kami was completed in Edo, and Oguri Jijirōemon was dispatched to Fukushima in Shinshū Province carrying the official letter and seal samples. After completing the exchange, he returned to the domain.
1. October 2nd, The Kyoto physician Ueda Yōan, who had been summoned regarding Princess Hatsu's condition, arrived in Fukui today and went to her chambers to examine her condition.
1. October 9th, Through envoy and castle keeper Miyakita Jūrōzaemon (marginal note: Sadayoshi), local specialty salted sweetfish in baskets were presented following the precedent of the previous lord. After the presentation was completed, an official letter came from duty officer Andō Tsushima-no-Kami (marginal note: Shigeyuki):
