One: On the same day, for the same occasion mentioned above, the following tribute items were presented. The castellan Ōseki Shingorozaemon (Naoyasu) went to the castle and presented them:
One ceremonial sword (decorative sword)
Five pieces of gold
Twenty rolls of silk damask
Two horses (one deer-colored with bare back, one chestnut-colored with covering)
One sword, unsigned (代金十五枚 for Kumo-style, 2 shaku 3 sun 6 bu and a half in length)
From the end of the twelfth month of Genroku 11, year of the Tiger
However, gifts of three pieces of silver each were given to five senior ladies-in-waiting at the castle, and two pieces each to three official messengers.
One: On the same day, to Junior Councilor Matsudaira Noto-no-kami, the castellan Miyakita Jūrozaemon (Sadayoshi) along with two horse attendants went to report that they had brought the tribute horses. Following his instructions, they proceeded to Suwabe Bunzaemon and delivered the horses to the stables.
