○白粉（をしろい）はうすきがよしつねに顔（かほ）を能（よく）

はけたるは見くるしき物（もの）なり総【惣】じて
女のけわいは早朝（さうてう）の事（こと）なり人 未（いま）だ

現代語訳
【右丁 上段】
（商売を）することである。
○白粉は薄いのが良い。常に顔をよく
磨いて薄く付ければ、艶があって
美しいものである。
○歯黒は毎朝すべきである。歯先が白く
剥げているのは見苦しいものである。総じて
女の化粧は早朝のことである。人がまだ
起きないうちに顔を洗い、髪を結うことが
女の作法である。

春秋祝い月のこと《並びに吉書歌 七夕歌》
正月を睦月というのは、普段は疎遠な
一族や家族、友人や同輩までも日ごと
にやって来て酒宴をし、親しく交わる
ことから名付けたということである。注連飾りはこれこそ
神の国の印であって、門に松竹を
立てるのは蓬莱山を模り、不老不死
の祝いをするものである。総じてこの月は年
の始め、月日の始めで、どれもめでたいことを
取り揃え、一年の凶事を除き、吉事
を招く謂れである。

万の宝を書き収める
我が見ても久しくなった住吉の
岸の姫松は幾代経ぬらん

luster and be beautiful.
○Teeth blackening should be done every morning. When the tips of teeth
show white where the blackening has worn off, it is unsightly. In general,
women's makeup is a matter for early morning. It is
proper etiquette for women to wash their face and arrange their hair
while people are still sleeping.

About Spring and Autumn Celebratory Months《Including auspicious calligraphy poems and Tanabata poems》
The reason January is called "Mutsuki" (Month of Intimacy) is that even
family members, relatives, friends and peers who are usually distant
come every day to hold banquets and intimately
associate with each other, hence the name. Sacred rope decorations are truly
symbols of the land of the gods, and standing pine and bamboo
at the gate imitates Mount Hōrai, celebrating
immortality and eternal youth. In general, this month is the beginning
of the year, the start of months and days, gathering all
auspicious things, removing misfortunes of the year, and
inviting good fortune.
