麤末におくる 大事のもの

大事なことを人に話してはならない
粗末に扱って大切なものを失う
一番の大事は火の用心である
裁縫のことに気を配りなさい
足りる様子は所帯向きで
自分の身分程度を知るのが良い
分に過ぎた衣装を着るな
借りて置いてある道具は
また借りることがあっても早く返しなさい
自分を利口だと心得て
夫の言葉を言い負かし
差し出がましく物を言う者は
傍から見ても憎いものだ
身だしなみも派手すぎて

世間の人の気持ちを察し
暑さ寒さを思いやりなさい
有徳な人の子であっても
鼻にかけては自慢し
大きな顔をする者は
人に憎まれる種である
人の悪口を聞く時は
