【右丁 上段】
たとへみめこそ あしくとも
心はなをる 物でかし
三十二 相（さう）も むねに有
後世（ごせ）がおもしと いひなせど
陰陽（いんやう）なふては 道（みち）もなし
けん女なりしも 世に多（をゝ）し
をやかう〳〵に あひらしく
しうとしうとめ むつましく
おつと大事に 家（いへ）もちて
兄弟（きやうだい）までも いとをしみ
他人（たにん）の中も しんじつに
道をたがへず くらしては
ぢごくといへど こはからず
それを地獄（ぢごく）へ おとすなら

それは閻魔（ゑんま）の あやまりぞ
あさ夕（ゆふ）かゞみに むかひつゝ
けしやうけはい の折からに
心のあかも 清（きよ）むべし
こゝろたゞしく 身（み）を持（もち）て
子供（こども）まごども はんじやうし
いく千代（ちよ）や経ん ひめ小まつ
をしゆる道（みち）を まもりつゝ
さかゆくすへを わかみどり
いくよろづ代も にぎやかに
めでたきはるを おくるべし
此国（このくに）の人の道（みち）とは
とにかくに
たゝ正直（しやうぢき）を
おしへぬるかな

面（めん）すといふ共
側（そば）近（ちか）くなる事
一 我（わが）分際（ぶんざい）を不（ず）知（しら）
或（あるひは）驕（おごり）或（あるひは）不 足（そく）の事
一下人の善悪（ぜんあく）を

弁（わきま）へず召仕（めしつかひ）やう
正（たゞ）しからざる事
一 舅姑（きうこ）【左ルビ：しうとしうとめ】にそまつにし
て人の譏（そしり）を得（う）る事

【右丁 上段】
たとえ美貌こそ劣っていても
心は直る（改善できる）ものです
三十二相も胸の内にある
後世が大切だと言うけれど
陰陽（男女の交わり）なくては道もない
賢女であった人も世に多い
両親に愛らしく接し
舅・姑と睦まじく
夫を大事にして家を持ち
兄弟までも愛おしみ
他人の中でも真実に
道を違えずに暮らしては
地獄と言えども恐ろしくない
それを地獄へ落とすなら
【左丁 上段】
それは閻魔王の間違いである
朝夕鏡に向かいながら
化粧身だしなみの折に
心の垢も清めるべきである
心正しく身を持って
子供・孫たちも繁栄し
幾千代も経つであろう姫小松
教える道を守りつつ
栄えゆく末を若緑
幾万代も賑やかに
めでたい春を送るべきである
この国の人の道とは
とにかく
ただ正直を
教えたものだなあ

面談すると言っても
そば近くになること（をしてはならない）
一 自分の分際を知らず
あるいは驕り、あるいは不足すること（をしてはならない）
一 下人の善悪を

わきまえず召使いの扱い方が
正しくないこと（をしてはならない）
一 舅・姑を粗末にして
人の非難を受けること（をしてはならない）
一 継子を疎かにして

The thirty-two marks of Buddha are also within one's heart
Though people say the afterlife is important

Being harmonious with father-in-law and mother-in-law
Treasuring one's husband and maintaining the household
Loving even one's siblings
Being sincere even among strangers
Living without straying from the proper way
Even hell would not be frightening
If such a person were cast into hell

Facing the mirror morning and evening
At times of applying makeup and grooming
One should also purify the dirt from one's heart
Maintaining oneself with a righteous heart
Children and grandchildren will also prosper
Like a princess pine that will endure for thousands of generations
While protecting the teachings
The flourishing future like fresh green
For countless generations, prosperously
One should spend auspicious springs
The way of people in this country is
In any case
Simply honesty
That has been taught
