祝義右の心なり盃の
次第（しだい）三々九 度（ど）もしうと
けんざんのごとく也
○舅（しうと）入の事右 聟（むこ）入かくを
以てしんしやくあるべし
総【惣】して式法（しきほう）あるひは
過（すき）あるひはおよはざるは
礼（れい）にあらず中にも
こんれいは賤（しづ）の男（を）賤（しづ）
の女（め）も相応（さうをう）の礼（れい）をば
かくべからず先祖（せんぞ）より子（し）
々孫々（しそん〴〵）にいたる迄の吉（きつ）

現代語訳
【右丁 上段】
祝儀は右の心である。盃の
次第、三々九度も舅の
献酌の通りである。
○舅入りのことは、右の婿入りの例を
以って推察があるべきである。
総じて式法は、あるいは
過ぎ、あるいは及ばざるは
礼ではない。中でも
婚礼は賤しい男、賤しい
女も相応の礼を
欠くべからず。先祖より子
々孫々に至るまでの吉
凶を決定する所なれば、
よくよく尋ね計らうべきである。

The celebration follows the spirit described above. The order of cups
and the san-san-kudo ritual should follow
the father-in-law's sake serving as well.
○Regarding the father-in-law's entry, one should
make inferences based on the example of the groom's entry described above.
Generally, in ceremonial procedures, if they are either
excessive or insufficient,
they are not proper etiquette. Especially
for weddings, even lowly men and lowly
women must not
omit appropriate ceremonies. Since this is where
the good and ill fortune of descendants
from ancestors to children and grandchildren is determined,
one should inquire and deliberate very carefully.
