右者私御代官所丹州竹野郡俵野村外三ヶ村海岸附
入村々二御座候処当正月十五日夜ヨリ同十六日之内田反
別壱町余高八尺又ハ壱丈位用水川敷一同俄二地高
二相成并田畑反別五反三畝余ハ砂入欠崩損地出来候
段届出申候委細之儀ハ追而可申上候得共先此段御

丹後国俵野村外三ヶ村の地変について事前にお届け
合計田畑反別一町五反三畝余り
内訳 田反別一町余りが地盤上昇
田畑反別五反三畝余りに砂が流入
右の件は私の代官所である丹州竹野郡俵野村外三ヶ村の海岸に近い
村々にございますが、当年正月十五日夜より同十六日の間に、田反別
一町余りが高さ八尺又は一丈位、用水・川敷一帯が急に地盤上昇し、
また田畑反別五反三畝余りには砂が流入して欠損崩壊した土地ができた
旨を届け出申します。詳細については追って申し上げますが、まずこの件を
お届け申し上げます。

砂山が窪み、田方に地変が生じ、前記の両村の田反別合計四反二分が
およそ一尺位から一丈位まで地盤上昇し、高十七石九斗
七升二合分の荒地ができた旨を、在所の家来共より申し越してきましたので、
この件をお届け申し上げます。以上

The above concerns villages near the coast of Tawarano Village and three other villages in Takeno District, Tanshū, which are under my administration as deputy governor. Between the night of the 15th day of the first month of this year and the 16th day, rice fields totaling more than 1 chō rose in elevation by about 8 shaku or 1 jō, with irrigation channels and riverbed areas all suddenly experiencing ground elevation. Additionally, rice fields and dry fields totaling more than 5 tan 3 se suffered sand intrusion, creating damaged and collapsed land. I hereby report this matter. While I will provide detailed information later, I first submit this report.

The above is a village near the coast. On the night of the 12th day of the first month of this year, sand dunes suddenly subsided, causing land changes in the rice field areas. The combined rice field area of the aforementioned two villages, totaling 4 tan 2 bu, experienced ground elevation ranging from about 1 shaku to 1 jō, creating wasteland equivalent to a yield of 17 koku 9 to 7 shō 2 gō.
