フル事三十里二及ヘリトソ無間ヵ谷トイへル
ハ浅間山引廻シ巌石峩々トシテ恐シキ石ナリ
前掛山トイフハ焼山ヲ隠シテ佐久郡二向フ鬼
ノ牙山黒生山間谷二右ノ大雪降り積シ所二焼

年十一月二十二日、大雪にて降り積もること六尺又は七尺程の所もあり。二十三日、四日は晴天にて、また二十五日より二十七日まで時々降りけり。しかるに二十日、浅間山大いに噴火し、大石小石が麓二里程のうちに雨の降るがごとく、中でも大原という所へ七百程の岩石が降りけり。これを七平石と名付け、今もあり。灰砂の降ること三十里に及べりとそ。無間ヶ谷というは
浅間山の周囲で、岩石が険しくそびえて恐ろしい石なり。前掛山というのは焼山を隠して佐久郡に向かう。鬼ノ牙山、黒生山の間の谷に、右の大雪が降り積もった所に、焼石の熱によって一時に消えたり。また二十七日七つ時より大雨となり、二十九日まで昼夜の分かちなく降りたれば、山々の焼石が谷々へ押し出し、麓の村々多く跡形なく流れしとそ。その後街道は通行不能の道と成りしを、その時の領主が近郷へ申し付け、小石ども片寄せ、四年の間にて街道普請を成就せり。今に至りて山の半腹、街道筋は皆焼石のみなり。これは降ったるにはあらず
