 一古国府分ふ可伐採竹事  一寺内江立入非分之儀申懸族お在之者留置可   有注進事  一当町市日如先々可相立事   右條々堅令停止畢若違犯之輩お有之者   忽可處厳科者也依如件     天正拾参        閏八月 日  利勝判   右制札等越中国射水郡古国府勝興寺伝来   按に豊太閤出馬之際被_レ建_二制札_一處閏八月依_レ成_二   前田家之封内と_一更に建_二制札_一者也  当寺方丈儀守山江取申候条残小寺幷  山林之事不可有異儀候者也     後八月十一日   又左利家印       国泰寺         納所御中   御寺方丈之儀守山江御用之儀に而被為取候然者  残候小寺共無別儀被為参候方丈之儀は小屋かけ  成共可被成候其寺内共之儀少も無別儀候旨御印  被為参候条若左連〳〵兎角之儀申候共御承  引有間敷候其上兎角之儀申候て名字を極御  注進可被成候尚御使僧江申入候恐惶謹言

現代語訳

一、古国府分として伐採すべき竹のこと 一、寺内へ立ち入り非分の儀を申しかける族がいる者は留め置き注進すべきこと 一、当町の市日は先々の如く相立てるべきこと  右の条々堅く停止を命ず。もし違犯の輩がいる者は  たちまち厳科に処すべきものなり。よって件の如し    天正十三年      閏八月 日  利勝(花押)  右の制札等は越中国射水郡古国府勝興寺の伝来  按ずるに豊太閤出馬の際に制札を建てられ、閏八月に  前田家の封内となるに依り更に制札を建てたものなり 当寺方丈の儀、守山へ取り申し候条、残りの小寺並びに 山林のことは異儀あるべからず候ものなり    後八月十一日   又左利家(印)      国泰寺       納所御中  御寺方丈の儀、守山へ御用の儀にて取らせられ候。然らば 残り候小寺共別儀なく参らせられ候。方丈の儀は小屋掛け なりとも成させらるべく候。その寺内共の儀少しも別儀なく候旨、御印 参らせられ候条、もし左様に連々とかくの儀申し候とも御承引 あるまじく候。その上とかくの儀申し候て名字を極め御 注進成させらるべく候。なお御使僧へ申し入れ候。恐惶謹言

英語訳

One, regarding bamboo to be cut within the Kokufu territory One, those who enter the temple grounds and make unreasonable demands shall be detained and reported One, market days in this town shall continue as before  The above articles are strictly prohibited. If there are any violators,  they shall immediately be subjected to severe punishment. Therefore as stated herein.    Tensho 13th year      Intercalary 8th month __ day  Toshikatsu (seal)  The above regulatory notices and others have been transmitted by Shokoji Temple in Kokufu, Imizu District, Etchu Province  Upon examination: When Toyotai-ko [Hideyoshi] dispatched troops, regulatory notices were erected, and in the intercalary 8th month when it became part of the Maeda family domain, new regulatory notices were erected. Regarding the abbot's quarters of your temple being taken to Moriyama, the remaining small temples and mountain forests shall remain unchanged.    Later 8th month, 11th day   Mataza Toshiie (seal)      Kokutai-ji Temple       To the temple administrator Regarding the abbot's quarters of your temple being taken to Moriyama for official use. In that case, the remaining small temples shall be transferred without incident. As for the abbot's quarters, even temporary huts may be constructed. Since you have sent a seal stating that there shall be no problems with the temple grounds, even if such matters are repeatedly mentioned, we shall not accept them. Furthermore, if such matters are mentioned, you shall identify the names and report them. We have also informed the messenger monk of this. Respectfully and humbly submitted.
