現代語訳
御入用金を京都において御才覚で調達する予定であったところ、御手筈が相違し、必ず御指支（資金不足）になってしまうため、再び町在へ左の通り御用金を仰せ出されることとなった。しかしながら、最初に大分の御用金を差し上げた上に、また仰せ出されることは、下々の者が迷惑することと思し召されるけれども、御普請御用が指支になっては御大事につき、やむを得ず仰せ出される儀であるから、この段を末々まで申し聞かせ、精を出すよう申し渡すべき旨を、町奉行・郡奉行へ左の通り書付をもって与三左衛門が申し渡した。

The necessary funds were supposed to be procured through financial arrangements in Kyoto, but due to discrepancies in the arrangements, financial shortfalls were inevitable. Therefore, additional service funds were once again requested from the towns and villages as follows. Although it was recognized that requesting additional funds after having already collected substantial service money would cause hardship for the common people, since disruption to the construction project would be a serious matter, this unavoidable request was made. Yozaemon conveyed instructions to the town magistrates and district magistrates through the following written directive, stating that this matter should be communicated thoroughly to all levels and that everyone should apply themselves diligently.
