現代語訳
吉邦様御同道にて御登城された（昨二十七日、御用番稲葉丹後守殿から御老中連名の御切紙が来た）。
吉邦様の御任官の御礼を仰せ上げられ、二種一荷を御献上された。
中納言様へ御樽肴を献上され、御退出の際に御老中・御側御用人・若年寄中へ御廻勤された。
一、十二月二十九日、歳暮の御祝儀として御使者をもって例の通り御小袖を献上された。
中納言様へ銀十枚を初めて献上された。御台様・一位様へ白銀を指し上げられた。
宝永二年乙酉
一、正月朔日、年始の御祝儀として御登城され、例の通り御太刀馬代を献上された。
呉服を御拝領された。
一、同月二日、内匠頭（昌平）様の御妹興津姫様が御卒去されたことにより、御養方御従弟の御忌みを請けられた。
一、同日、御使者をもって例の通り御国産（二番）生鱈を献上された。
一、同月七日、御上初として御使者をもって例の通り御肴を献上された。
英語訳
[He] ascended to the castle accompanied by Yoshikuni (yesterday, the 27th, a written order signed by the Senior Councilors came from Duty Councilor Inaba Tango-no-kami).
[He] expressed gratitude for Yoshikuni's official appointment and presented two types in one load as offerings.
[He] presented sake barrels and delicacies to the Middle Counselor, and upon departure made courtesy visits to the Senior Councilors, personal chamberlains, and junior councilors.
One: On the 29th day of the 12th month, as year-end congratulations, kosode robes were presented as usual through a messenger.
Ten pieces of silver were presented to the Middle Counselor for the first time. White silver was offered to the Shogun's wife and the First Rank Lady.
Hōei 2nd Year, Year of the Wood Snake
One: On New Year's Day, [he] ascended to the castle for New Year congratulations and presented sword and horse money as usual.
[He] received silk garments as a gift.
One: On the 2nd day of the same month, due to the death of Okitsu-hime, the younger sister of Takumi-no-kami (Masahira), [he] observed mourning as an adopted relative cousin.
One: On the same day, fresh cod from the domain (second grade) was presented as usual through a messenger.
One: On the 7th day of the same month, as the first offering of the new year, delicacies were presented as usual through a messenger.
