一、四月十一日、御登城して御参勤の御礼を申し上げ、御太刀一腰・銀三百枚・綿二百把を御献上した。そして本多孫太郎長員の御目見が仰せ付けられた。
奉書紙二十束・御太刀・銀・馬代を献上し終わって御退出の際、御老中・御側御用人・若年寄中に御回勤した。
ただし御再勤後、右の御礼の際は銀二百枚・綿百把を御献上したが、去年の御暇の際に御拝領物が増えたことについて御伺いの上、今後は右のとおり御献上することになった。また家来の御目見の件も今度から御先規のとおり仰せ出された。
一、同日、右の件について御台様・一位様に例のとおり白銀・縮緬を指し上げた。

One: On the 11th day of the 4th month, ascended to the castle and expressed gratitude for sankin attendance, presenting one ceremonial sword, 300 pieces of silver, and 200 bundles of cotton. Then Honda Magotarō Nagazane was granted an audience.
After presenting 20 bundles of hōsho paper, a ceremonial sword, silver, and horse money, upon departing made courtesy calls to the senior councillors, chamberlains, and junior councillors.
However, after the resumption of service, at the time of the aforementioned ceremony, 200 pieces of silver and 100 bundles of cotton were presented, but since the bestowed gifts were increased at the time of last year's leave, after inquiry it was decided that henceforth the presentations would be as stated above. Also regarding retainer audiences, from this time forward it was ordered to follow previous precedent.
