○今、銀八百匁を金に換えると何ほどか。
答え：代金十三両一分と五匁。
術に曰く：八百匁を六十匁で割ると一・三三三三三三三となる。これを前の米の算法のように、ここまでで十三両と上に繰り上げ、次の三の内から二半（＝二・五）を引いて一分とし、残りの八三三に六十匁を掛ければ五匁となる。
○今、銭八十貫文の代金は何ほどか。ただし、金一両につき四貫八百文の換え相場とする。
答え：金十六両二分と八百文。
術に曰く：八十貫文を四貫八百文で割ると一・六六六六六となる。前と同じように、十六両から五（＝○・五両分の端数換算）を引いて十六両二分とし、残った一六六六に右の四貫八百文を掛けて八百文と求まる。
