序
文（ぶん）に曰（いわ）く浮世（ふせい）は夢（ゆめ）の如（こと）し歓（よりこび）をなす事（こと）
いくばくぞやと誠（まこと）にしかり金々先生（きん〳〵せんせい）の一
生の栄花（ゑいくわ）も邯鄲（かんたん）のまくらの夢（ゆめ）もともに
粟粒（ぞくりう）一すひの如し金々先生は何人（なんびと）と
いふことを知らすおもふに古今和（こきん）三鳥（さんてう）の
伝授（でんじゆ）の如し金（かね）ある者は金々先生となり
金なきものはゆふでゝ頓直（とんちき）となるさすれは
金々先生は一人の名にして壱人の名にあらす
神浅論（しんせんろん）にいわゆる是（これ）を得（う）るものは前（まへ）にたち
これを失ふものは後（しりへ）にたつとそれ是これを

序
文に言うように、浮世は夢のようなものである。喜びを得ることがどれほどあるというのだろうか。まことにその通りである。金々先生の一生の栄華も、邯鄲の枕の夢も、ともに粟粒一粒を炊くほどの短い時間のようなものである。金々先生とは何者かということは分からないが、思うに古今和歌集の三鳥の伝授のようなものである。金のある者は金々先生となり、金のない者は夕方には頓馬になってしまう。そうであれば、金々先生は一人の名前であって一人の名前ではない。神仙論に言うところの、これを得る者は前に立ち、これを失う者は後ろに立つということである。それがこのことを言うのであろうか、云々。 画工 恋川春町戯作

Preface
As the text says, the floating world is like a dream. How much joy can one truly obtain? This is indeed true. The lifelong glory of Master Kinkin and the dream on the pillow of Kantan are both like a single grain of millet being cooked - fleeting moments. We do not know who Master Kinkin truly is, but I think it is like the transmission of the three birds in the Kokin Wakashū. Those with money become Master Kinkin, while those without money become fools by evening. If this is so, then Master Kinkin is one name yet not one name. As stated in the Theory of Immortals, those who obtain this stand in front, and those who lose this stand behind. Is this what is being said? And so forth. Artist: Koikawa Harumachi, comic writer
