永代譲渡申家屋敷証文之事
一清水町ニ而我等家屋敷表口三間裏行大境迄拾六間
不残譲渡申候為此礼金拾両壱分五り【匁ヵ】唯今不残慥
受取申候永代譲渡申所実正也然上者此家屋鋪ニ付
諸親類ハ不及申脇々ゟ少茂構無御座候若六ケ敷義
申者御座候ハゝ加判人急度埒明貴殿江御苦労掛申間敷候
一御公儀様御役義之儀ハ地持並ニ勤可被成候縦如何様之
義出来申候共子々孫々至迄毛頭違乱申間敷候為
後日之加判証文仍如件

現代語訳
家屋敷永代譲渡証文の件
一、清水町において私どもの家屋敷、間口三間、奥行きは大境まで十六間を、残らず譲渡いたします。この礼金として金十両一分五匁を、ただ今残らず確かに受け取りました。永代譲渡する所は真実正当なものです。このうえは、この家屋敷について、諸親類はもちろんのこと、他の者からも少しも異議申し立てはございません。もし難しい問題を申し出る者がございましたら、加判人が必ず解決し、貴殿にご迷惑をおかけいたしません。
一、お上様の御役儀の件は、地主と同様に勤めていただきます。たとえどのようなことが起こりましても、子々孫々に至るまで、少しも違約いたしません。後日の証拠のための加判証文として、よって件のごとし。

Document of Perpetual Transfer of House and Residential Land
1. We hereby transfer in perpetuity our house and residential property in Shimizu-machi, with a frontage of three ken and a depth of sixteen ken extending to the boundary, without any reservation. As compensation for this, we have received in full the sum of ten ryō, one bu, and five monme in gold. This perpetual transfer is genuine and legitimate. Henceforth, regarding this house and residential land, neither our relatives nor any other parties have any claims whatsoever. Should anyone raise difficult issues, the co-signers will definitively resolve them and will not cause any trouble for you.
1. Regarding official duties to the government, you shall perform them as befits a landowner. Whatever may occur, there shall be no violation of this agreement through generations of descendants. This co-signed document serves as evidence for the future. Therefore, as stated above.
