座松平周防守殿を以此度御類焼ニ付可為難儀与被思召金三千両御
拝借被仰出難有思召候右之趣諸向へ可被致通達候

○各儀是迄当番之節部屋ニ罷在候へ共向後御次ニ相詰候様被仰付候

一御台所御下男定夫共是迄六拾壱人ニ候処先達而拾弐人相減相候由猶

○去る二十八日、御登城されたところ、御居揃いが仰せ出され、御白書院の御縁頬にて御老中が御列座し、松平周防守殿を通じて「この度の御類焼につき難儀であろうと思召され、金三千両を御拝借として仰せ出された。ありがたく思召される」旨、右の趣を諸方面へ通達されたい。

○各儀、これまで当番の節は部屋に控えていたが、今後は御次に詰めるよう仰せ付けられた。

一、御料理方当番はこれまで三人のところ、今後は二人ずつ当番を勤め、御方々様の御用のみ御間に合わせるよう仰せ付けられた
ただし右により勤番御料理方のうち一人詰めを減らす
一、御台所御下男定夫共はこれまで六十一人であったところ、先達て十二人減らしたが、なお又七人減らして残り四十二人に仰せ付けられた
右の通り申し渡し取り計らわれたい

○On the past 28th, when [the lord] attended the castle, an assembly was ordered, and at the veranda of the White Study Hall, the Senior Councilors were seated in formal arrangement. Through Lord Matsudaira Suō-no-kami, it was announced: "Considering the hardship caused by the recent fire damage, His Lordship graciously grants a loan of 3,000 ryō in gold, for which we are deeply grateful." This matter should be communicated to all relevant parties.

1. Kitchen servants and regular workers: previously 61 people, recently reduced by 12, but now further reduced by 7, leaving 42 people total
