一御留守年ハ諸事是迄之通之事
但御城代御留守居御城見廻之節御錠口内ハ奥之番も罷出事且又御本丸
掃除之節以来御錠口内ハ奥之番并奥御坊主共掃除相勤候事
尤御錠口外ハ是迄之通之事

○右同趣ニ付別紙之通相心得向々へ可被申渡候且又夫々申渡候別紙書付為心得相渡候

一御着城当日ゟ御発駕迄御本丸御館内之儀御用人取扱之事
一御広間御番之儀御着城当日七ツ前ゟ引移り是迄御座所之通当番相
勤可申事
但元日除夜并正月御祈祷之節当番勤方差別有之候へ共以来平日
当番之通相勤御留守年ハ可為是迄之通事
一御使番当番是迄御座所之通たるへき事
一下馬切手太鼓三ケ所御門当番可為是迄之通事
但年始并御祝儀御式等ニ而太鼓御門へ御先物頭当番相勤瓦御門へ与
力罷出候節瓦御門出入之儀ハ相改ニ不及候事
一太鼓御門瓦御門御在国中朝六時開御夜詰過鎖可申事
一御台所頭同目付之内壱人ツヽ泊番被仰付諸事締方火之元等厳重入念
可致吟味事
一奥向之儀是迄も不寝御坊主夜分半時廻り有之候へ共猶以厳重相廻火之
元可致吟味事
一表向之儀表御坊主当番之内へ不寝被仰付厳重相廻火之元可致吟味事
一御広敷向之儀不寝番被仰付厳重相廻火之元可致吟味事
一御留守年御城代御留守居御城見廻之節御錠口内ハ奥部屋も可罷出事
且又御本丸掃除之節御錠口内ハ奥番并奥御坊主共掃除可相
勤事尤御錠口外ハ是迄之通之事
右之通向々へ可被申渡候

御目付
一瓦御門是迄御座所御門之通御広敷向女中を初町在御用達等ニ至迄一切
現代語訳
一、御留守年は諸事これまで通りのこと
ただし御城代御留守居が御城見回りの際、御錠口内は奥の番も出向くこと。また御本丸
掃除の際、今後御錠口内は奥の番並びに奥御坊主共が掃除を勤めること
もっとも御錠口外はこれまで通りのこと
御用人
○右同趣旨につき、別紙の通り心得て、関係部署へ申し渡すべきである。またそれぞれ申し渡す別紙書付を心得として渡す。

一、御台所頭同目付の内一人ずつ泊番を仰せ付けられ、諸事の締め方、火の元等厳重に心を入れて
吟味すべきこと
一、奥向の件について、これまでも不寝御坊主が夜分半時回りがあったが、なお一層厳重に回り、火の
元を吟味すべきこと
一、表向の件について、表御坊主当番の内へ不寝を仰せ付け、厳重に回り火の元を吟味すべきこと
一、御広敷向の件について、不寝番を仰せ付け、厳重に回り火の元を吟味すべきこと
一、御留守年、御城代御留守居が御城見回りの際、御錠口内は奥部屋も出向くべきこと
また御本丸掃除の際、御錠口内は奥番並びに奥御坊主共が掃除を
勤めるべきこと。もっとも御錠口外はこれまで通りのこと
右の通り関係部署へ申し渡すべきである

1. From the day of castle arrival until departure, matters within the main keep residence shall be handled by the chamberlains
1. Regarding guard duty in the audience hall, from before 4 PM on the day of castle arrival, guards shall transfer and serve duty as at the previous residence
However, on New Year's Eve and during New Year prayers, there were differences in guard duty methods, but henceforth they shall serve as on regular days, and during the lord's absence years it shall be as before
1. Messenger guard duty shall be as at the previous residence
1. Dismounting tags, drums, and guard duty at the three gates shall be as before
However, during New Year and celebratory ceremonies when senior retainers serve guard duty at the Taiko Gate and yoriki appear at Kawara Gate, there is no need to change the procedures for entering and exiting Kawara Gate
1. Taiko Gate and Kawara Gate shall open at 6 AM and be locked after evening guard duty while the lord is in residence
1. One each from the kitchen supervisor and inspector shall be appointed for overnight duty, strictly supervising all security matters and fire prevention with careful attention
1. Regarding inner quarters affairs, although sleepless monk attendants have made half-hourly rounds at night as before, they shall make even more strict rounds and inspect for fire hazards
1. Regarding outer quarters affairs, sleepless duty shall be assigned among the outer monk attendants on duty, who shall make strict rounds and inspect for fire hazards
1. Regarding the women's quarters, sleepless guards shall be appointed to make strict rounds and inspect for fire hazards
1. During the lord's absence years, when the castle deputy and caretaker officials make castle rounds, the inner chambers shall also appear within the locked gate area
