○諸国中寺院之内門徒共ゟ金子取集本寺へ致寄附候趣相聞候近年町在共
御頼金等被仰出一統致困窮居候事ニ候間以後右等之儀無之様支配下へ可申付候
若心得違之儀於有之ハ急度可及御沙汰旨ニ候
十一月廿日
一大橋川筋船上ケ下ケ流木等致候者平水出水共橋枕不相障様兼而夫々被
仰出も有之へ共以後愈厳重入念可申事
附若出水等ニ而流船流木等橋枕へ流懸り候節ハ見掛候者等閑ニ不致手
当致し橋枕不損様取計早速御水主方へも相届可申候且又御水主方ニ而も
見付次第罷出吟味之上過料等可申付事
一船材木其外何ニよらす取放シ大橋川下へ相流候節御水主方へ取押置候品持
主之者願出候節是又吟味之上早速相渡可申事
右之通此度改而被仰出候間猶又舟持并流木等致候者急度相心得可申者也

○石谷山間歩之儀元来尺延石細工之儀ハ御法度有之候処近年御城下石屋
共願ニ而無指支取扱来候へ共向後古寸法規定之通尺延之分他国他所出之
儀御指留被成候古法之通厳重相改可取計事
右之通御普請奉行へ可被申聞候

○新番格ニ而御広敷添役相勤候者是迄御広敷御用人致支配候へ共以後御
帳付之外都而御奉行支配被仰付候間其段夫々可被申通候

別紙
○諸国の寺院の内、門徒共より金子を取り集めて本寺へ寄附している趣が聞こえてくる。近年町や在郷共に御頼金等が仰せ出され、一同困窮している事情であるから、以後右等の儀がないよう支配下へ申し付けるべきである。
もし心得違いの儀があれば、必ず御沙汰に及ぶべき旨である。
十一月二十日
一、大橋川筋で船の上げ下げや流木等を行う者は、平水・出水共に橋脚に障らないよう、かねてよりそれぞれに仰せ出しもあったが、以後いよいよ厳重に入念に行うべきこと
附 もし出水等で流船・流木等が橋脚へ流れかかった節は、見かけた者は等閑にせず手当てを行い、橋脚を損なわないよう取り計らい、早速御水主方へも届け出るべきである。また御水主方でも見つけ次第出向いて吟味の上、過料等を申し付けるべきこと
一、船材木その他何によらず取り放して大橋川下へ流した節、御水主方へ取り押さえ置いた品の持ち主の者が願い出た節は、これまた吟味の上早速相渡すべきこと
右の通りこの度改めて仰せ出されるから、なお又船持ち並びに流木等を行う者は必ず相心得るべきものである

○新番格で御広敷添役を勤める者は、これまで御広敷御用人が支配していたが、以後御帳付の外はすべて御奉行支配に仰せ付けられるから、その段それぞれに申し通すべきである

○ It has been reported that among temples in various provinces, money is being collected from parishioners and donated to head temples. In recent years, both towns and rural areas have been asked for financial contributions and all are suffering hardship, so henceforth such practices should be prohibited among subordinate institutions.
If there are any violations of this understanding, it shall certainly be subject to official censure.
11th month, 20th day
1. Regarding those who move boats up and down the Ōhashi River or handle floating timber: although instructions have been issued that bridge piers should not be obstructed whether in normal or flood waters, henceforth this must be observed even more strictly and carefully.
Note: If during floods, drifting boats or timber flow against bridge piers, those who observe this shall not neglect it but shall take measures to prevent damage to the bridge piers and promptly report to the Water Master's office. The Water Master's office shall also go out immediately upon discovery, investigate, and impose fines.
1. Regarding boat timber and other materials carelessly released to drift down the Ōhashi River: when owners of items seized by the Water Master's office petition for their return, these shall be returned promptly after investigation.
As the above has been newly decreed, boat owners and those handling floating timber must strictly observe these rules.

○ As the above provisions have been newly decreed, the Water Master's office shall also, as before, when there are drifting boats or timber, diligently take care to prevent damage to bridge piers, as has also been decreed. This should be understood accordingly.

In accordance with the above decree, Water Master Chief Hayashi Jirō was summoned to the residence of 7th month duty officer Yokota Sakutayū and the above written orders were delivered.
Inspector
○ Regarding stonework at Ishitani mountain: originally there were prohibitions on extended-measure stonework, but in recent years castle town stonemasons have been permitted to handle it without restriction upon petition. However, henceforth, extended-measure work according to old dimensional regulations from other provinces and places shall be prohibited. This shall be strictly reformed according to ancient law.
The above shall be communicated to the Construction Magistrate.

In Edo Inspector
○ Those serving as Assistant Roles in the Inner Palace with New Guard status have until now been supervised by Inner Palace Administrators, but henceforth all except record-keepers shall be placed under Magistrate supervision. This shall be communicated to each accordingly.
