○去ル丑年諸事御改革被仰付ニ付専御国産物可相用候処近来呉服太物類を始小間物
其外諸色共他国産物持来候商人共次第ニ相増候趣ニ而職分外之者共迄も馴合取
次致売買候由相聞不埒至極之事ニ候別而当節米穀高直之年柄ニも候間右体之取
引を始御領分中ニ於而一宿たりも為致止宿申間敷候若心得違之者於有之ハ急
度可被及御沙汰候事
右之趣一統厳重相守候様於支配頭厚心配可被申付候

天保五年（1834年）
支配頭へ
○去る丑年（天保四年）に諸事御改革を命じられたため、専ら国産物を用いるべきところ、近頃呉服太物類をはじめ小間物その他諸色について他国産物を持参する商人共が次第に増加している様子で、職分外の者共までも馴れ合いで仲介して売買しているとのこと、まことに不埒極まりない事である。特に当節米穀高値の年柄でもあるので、右様の取引をはじめ、御領分中において一宿たりとも宿泊させてはならない。もし心得違いの者があれば必ず厳しい処罰を下す。
右の趣旨を一同厳重に守るよう、支配頭において厚く配慮して申し付けること。

○盗品の償い方について先年お達しもあったが、その後まちまちになっている様子が聞こえるので、今後は盗賊の有宿無宿の区別なく、なお文政八年一昨年のお達しの通り心得て取り計らうこと。

To the District Heads
○Since various reforms were ordered in the previous Year of the Ox (Tenpō 4), domestic products should be used exclusively. However, recently merchants bringing products from other domains—including textiles, fabrics, sundries, and various other goods—have been steadily increasing. It is reported that even those outside their proper occupations are colluding to act as intermediaries in these transactions, which is extremely improper conduct. Especially in these times of high grain prices, such trading activities and even a single night's lodging within our domain territory must not be permitted. If there are any violators, strict punishment will certainly be imposed.
All must strictly observe these instructions, and the district heads shall give careful attention to enforcing compliance.

○Regarding compensation for stolen goods, there were previous directives, but it is reported that practices have since become inconsistent. Henceforth, regardless of whether thieves have fixed residences or are vagrants, handle matters according to the directives issued in Bunsei 8, the year before last.
