「十三年間握りしめていたお手を開いてください」
疑いようのないその帯である。中将殿もお守りに付けて持っていらっしゃる。合わせてご覧になると、疑う余地がない。これは夢か現実かも分からない。嬉しさに真っ先に立つのは涙である。そうは言っても、親しい仲のことなので、比翼の語らいがあってはならない」とおっしゃると、帝がこのことをお聞きになって宣旨があった。「これほど不思議なことは例がない。これほど生まれ合ったのを親しい関係というべきか。初めて許可する」という宣旨なので、並々ならずお喜びになって、夫婦となったことは実にめでたいことであった。
