往来人難渋致候間道造御座候様仕度且橋
番屋塀庇廻り并橋中番屋高札場等
損所出来ニ付御取繕之儀右橋番人并掛り
名主共ゟ相願候付見分仕候処申立候通無相違
候付省略仕右御修復御入用積霊岸島
川口町家持伝吉え申付候処左之通申立候
永代橋助成地往還道造其外御入用
一金拾壱両壱分銀壱分
大川橋橋台道造其外御入用
一金弐両弐分銀五匁五分

右之通ニ而此上減方無御座旨申立前々御入用ニ
見合取調候処不相当之儀も相見え不申候間
前書金高ニ而伝吉え受負可被仰付候哉別

往来人が難渋致し候間、道造りをご座候様仕り度く、且つ橋番屋塀庇廻り並びに橋中番屋高札場等の損所が出来に付き、御取り繕いの儀、右橋番人並びに掛かり名主共より相願い候に付き見分仕り候処、申し立て候通り相違無く候に付き、省略仕り、右御修復御入用積もり、霊岸島川口町家持伝吉へ申し付け候処、左の通り申し立て候

Due to travelers experiencing difficulties, we wish to construct roads. Additionally, regarding the repair of damaged areas including the bridge guardhouse fence eaves, bridge guardhouses, bulletin board areas, etc., upon receiving requests from the bridge guards and responsible village headmen, we conducted an inspection and found their claims to be accurate without discrepancy. Therefore, summarizing the matter, we commissioned Denkichi, a property owner of Reiganjima Kawaguchi-cho, to estimate the repair costs, whereupon he submitted the following amounts:

Eitai Bridge auxiliary ground road construction and other expenses
One item: 11 ryo 1 bu in gold, 1 bu in silver

Okawa Bridge abutment road construction and other expenses
One item: 2 ryo 2 bu in gold, 5 monme 5 bu in silver

As stated above, he claims there is no possibility of further reduction. Upon comparing and examining previous expenses, we found no inappropriate items. Therefore, should Denkichi be commissioned to undertake the work at the aforementioned amounts? Separately...
