右の地形全体を掘り起こし、足し土を東西橋際に揚げて
おり、深川筋川浚いの土凡そ十九坪程を持ち込み敷き
平均し、不足分十六坪一合六勺は川縁の土を
刎ね揚げ水を絞り餡に突き込み、掘り起こした土を表面に掛けて
敷き平均し突き堅めるべし

The entire terrain described above shall be excavated and additional earth raised to the east and west bridge areas. Approximately 19 tsubo of dredged earth from the Fukagawa waterway channels shall be brought in and leveled. For the insufficient portion of 16 tsubo 1 gō 6 shaku, earth from the riverbank shall be scraped up, water squeezed out and packed into the base, then covered with excavated earth, leveled and firmly compacted.
