書面の永代橋外二橋助成地内の火の元守方について、毎年十月より三月まで、橋番人並びに同所出商人共が申し合わせて両人ずつ橋番所へ詰めて夜番を致しておりますが、火の元について厳重にお仰せ出しになられた後は、小半時（三十分）回りを行い、病気や差し合い等の節は来番が引き続き相勤めることになりましたので、夜番中六ヶ月分増として御手当御入用金四十六両三分銭五百文を増額いたします旨。

Regarding the fire prevention duties within the assistance areas of Eitai Bridge and two other bridges mentioned in the document: every year from October to March, bridge guards and local merchants from the same area coordinate to have two people each stationed at the bridge guard posts for night watch duties. However, after strict orders were issued regarding fire prevention, they now conduct patrols every half-hour (30 minutes), and when there is illness or scheduling conflicts, the next shift continues the duty without interruption. Therefore, an additional allowance of 46 ryō 3 bu and 500 mon is being increased for the six months of night watch duties.
