　之防第一ニ可致以来遠方ゟ之
　出火ニ而飛火いたし夫ゟ焼つのり候ハヽ
　火元と同罪たるへき事
一出火いたし屋根上えもへ抜ケ又は飛火
　ニ而もへ立候節近所之もの共早速
　打消候ハヽ其町内隣町ゟ其もの共え
　格別之褒美可遣事
　　但右出銀手当は地主共并表店之
　　もの共申合常々積置可申候尤次第ニ

　出火により飛び火をして、それから焼け広がった場合は
　火元と同罪とすべきこと
一、出火をして屋根上へ燃え抜け、または飛び火
　により燃え立った際、近所の者共が早速
　打ち消した場合は、その町内・隣町からその者共へ
　格別の褒美を与えるべきこと
　　但し右の出銀手当は地主共並びに表店の
　　者共が申し合わせ、常々積み置くべし。もっとも次第に
　　よって月番の番所へ訴え出るべし。時宜に
　　よって褒美も取り行うべし

1. When a fire breaks out and burns through to the rooftop, or when flames rise due to flying sparks, if neighbors quickly extinguish it, those persons shall receive special rewards from their own neighborhood and adjacent neighborhoods.
However, the funding for such rewards shall be arranged and regularly set aside through consultation between landlords and front-shop proprietors. Depending on circumstances, reports should be made to the monthly duty station, and rewards shall be distributed according to the situation.
