夜まで十六度も震動し、大極殿西北隅の竪壇の長石八
間が破裂し、宮城の垣墻や京師の廬舎で頽損したものが非常に多数
あった。七日丙戌、陰陽寮が奏上して「地震の徴候は兵
賊飢疫を慎むべきことと合致する」と言った。この夜、戌の刻から子の刻まで地も震動した。八日丁亥、
辰の刻から丑の刻まで、その間に地が四回震動した。九日戊子の夜、地震が二
度あった。
謹んで按ずるに、この後連続して地震があったが、今は省略する。

刻を経歴しても震動がなお止まなかった。天皇は仁寿殿を出て紫宸殿南庭に御し、命じて
