○春気長暦四《割書：長久｜元》年十月廿九日辛亥今夜丑
時許地大震良久不休止屋舎動揺燈火消滅
了予成人之後未有如此之震動心神失度不
知所為一時許乃休止尤可怖畏事也乍驚欲
参内之処風病発動仍不能参入也
十一月一日早且参内依去夜地震事也
主上出御仰云今夜震動総無此北殿屋震動【摠＝總＝総】

神迷乱之故也前日天文奏云及冬有地震歟

○春記 長暦四年《長久元年》十月二十九日辛亥、今夜丑の
刻頃、地が大いに震え、長い間休むことなく続いた。家屋は動揺し、灯火は消滅した。
私が成人してから、このような震動は未だかつてなく、心神は正常を失い、どうしてよいか
分からなかった。一時間ほどでようやく収まったが、この上なく恐ろしいことであった。驚いて
参内しようとしたところ、風病が発症したため、参内することができなかった。
十一月一日早朝に参内したのは、昨夜の地震のためである。
主上が御出ましになり仰せられるには、「昨夜の震動は全く、この北殿の屋敷が震動し、

高倉殿において申し伝えた仰せの趣旨を奏上されるには「地震のことは極めて恐ろしく思われる
ことです。天文博士に明日進言させるのでしょうか。その奏文について御

○Shunki: Chōryaku 4th year《Chōkyū 1st year》, 10th month, 29th day, kanoto-i. Tonight around the hour of the Ox,
the earth shook greatly and continued for a long time without stopping. Houses swayed and lamp flames were extinguished.
Since I became an adult, there has never been such a tremor. My mind lost its composure and I
did not know what to do. After about an hour it finally stopped, but it was extremely frightening. Startled, I wanted to
go to the palace, but a wind illness flared up, so I could not enter the palace.
On the 1st day of the 11th month, I went to the palace early in the morning because of last night's earthquake.
His Majesty appeared and said, "Last night's tremor was unprecedented. This Northern Palace shook violently,
