占文之面事ニ不軽可恐々々近日武家重人
等各不和云々天下重事出来之兆歟去貞和
五年六月地震《割書：不及｜今度》儀彼年故直義卿與師直
合戦出来乎今度又定如然事出来如歟可恐
現代語訳
「このような首に関わるほどの大きな揺れは候わず候。返す返すも以ての外に存じ候。その後も小さな揺れは大略毎日と候えども、占文は大概同じ事にて候。その外変異も候わばすぐに驚き入って候」（下略）

「恐れ多く憂鬱な間、畏れながら承り仕る。地動が連続し恐怖は極まりなく、吉兆の動きも不動に如かずの由、今申し候か。変異をまた重ねて承り仕る」（下略）
延文三年
○園太暦 延文三年九月四日、今暁卯の刻ほどに地大震。近来比類無きの由、諸人これを称す。
康安元年 延文六年
○後愚昧記 康安元年（延文六年）六月二十二日庚子、酉の刻地大震。近来更にこの如き事無く、肝を消し畢んぬ。
二十二日辛丑、卯の刻地また大震。昨夕の如く連日大動、先代未聞の事なり。恐るべき相を尋ね、大膳大夫安信親宜朝臣の処に占文を進ぜしめ、両日共に龍神の動く所と云々。
占文の趣旨について、軽んずべからず恐るべし。近日武家の重要人物等各々不和と云々。天下の重事出来の兆候か。去る貞和五年六月の地震（今度に及ばず）、その年故直義卿と師直が合戦となったか。今度またきっと然るべき事が出来するか。恐るべし。
英語訳
"Such major shaking that threatens one's very life has not occurred before. It is truly extraordinary. Although small tremors continue almost daily thereafter, the divination texts generally say the same thing. Should any other anomalies occur, I would immediately be alarmed" (abbreviated below).
The 18th day:
"In fearful melancholy, I humbly receive word. The continuous earth movements inspire limitless terror. Even auspicious movements are not as good as stillness - is this what is being said now? I have received word of further anomalies" (abbreviated below).
Enbun 3rd year:
○ Entairyaku: On the 4th day of the 9th month of Enbun 3, around the Hour of the Rabbit at dawn, there was a great earthquake. People say it was unprecedented in recent times.
Kōan 1st year (Enbun 6th year):
○ Go-gumaiki: On the 22nd day of the 6th month of Kōan 1 (Enbun 6), day of kanoe-ne, at the Hour of the Cock, there was a great earthquake. There has been nothing like this in recent times, and it made one's heart shrink with fear.
On the 22nd, day of kinoto-ushi, at the Hour of the Rabbit, the earth shook greatly again. Like yesterday evening, there were great movements for consecutive days - something unheard of in previous generations. Seeking divination about this fearful phenomenon, a divination text was submitted to Daizen-no-taibu Yasunobu Chikayoshi Ason, stating that both days were movements caused by dragon deities.
Regarding the content of the divination text: this should not be taken lightly but should be feared. Recently, important figures in the military government are each in discord. Could this be a sign of major events occurring in the realm? The earthquake of the 6th month of Jōwa 5 (though not as severe as this time) - in that year, Lord Tadayoshi and Moronao came to battle. This time too, surely such events will occur again. How fearful.
