二十三日壬寅、今日もまた度々地動があったが、昨日・一昨日の両度には及ばない。
二十四日癸卯、今暁寅の刻（卯か）またもや大地震があり、魂が消えるほどであった。このように連日大地震が続くが、その例はいずれの年であろうか。また正和以後にこのような事があったであろうか。日々動きがある時には密奏に及ぶかという由を親宜朝臣に相談したところ、返事には「正和六年正月三日に大地震があり、その外小動も度々あった。その時も龍神・水神の動くところなり。その年伏見院が崩御された。その外このような大小の動きが連続することは先例が無い」とのこと。今暁も水神の動きであり、正和を超え返した。去る二十一・二十二両日は同じ事のため、特に占文には及ばないとのこと。正和には四日・六日なども小動があり、大動は二ヶ度であった。今度は大動五ヶ度、小動は数え切れない。また連続の時には密奏に及ばないとのこと（下略）。
