現代語訳
三合の御祈りの由来について記載されているが、しかし地震の事については全く記載されていない。これは疑問である。この例幣の辞別は四月二十七日の地震のためではないのか。八月以後にまた地震があったのだろうか。他の記録で考証すべきである。

有官外記が例を勘考し、各年について注記したが、よってここでは略す
十四日 去る十日以来連日地動が休まない。嵯峨の釈迦堂並びに五大尊が顛倒したことについて、室町殿から御使いが遣わされ検分されたということである。斉藤新左衛門尉であろうか。神泉苑の築地、東寺の築地等が破損したことについて、両奉行《矢野長門入道、誉田入道》が遣わされ検分されたということである。皆地震によるものである。

Regarding the prayers for the three planetary conjunctions, it is recorded, but however, nothing is recorded about the earthquake. This is questionable. Was this imperial proclamation for the regular offerings not due to the earthquake of the 27th day of the 4th month? Was there another earthquake after the 8th month? This should be examined through other records.

The Senior Secretary examined precedents and made notes for each year, therefore abbreviated here
14th day: Since the past 10th day, earth movement continues without rest day after day. Regarding the fact that the Shaka Hall in Saga and the Five Great Honored Ones toppled over, a messenger was sent from the Muromachi Palace to inspect, it is said. Perhaps it was Saitō Shinzaemon-no-jō. Regarding the damage to the earthwork walls of Shinsen Garden, the earthwork walls of Tōji Temple, etc., both magistrates {{Yano Nagato Lay Monk, Yodata Lay Monk}} were sent to inspect, it is said. All due to the earthquake.
