分ニ大地震良久シ明日マテ如此也近国之
浦浜々屋皆波ニ溢レテ数多死人也其後日
々動事十二日之間也晦日同大地震当東如

現代語訳
尋ね記した後に聞いたところ、連日の地震は吉で、七日間は余震があるということである。
同七年
○和長卿記 明応七年八月二十五日辰の刻に大地震があった。私が生まれてから、このようなことは無かった。諸人が恐怖した。古文によると、また格別なことで、水神が動いたということである。
九月二日乙未 今夜まで《七日か》地震が連続して終わった。
永正七年
○拾芥記 永正七年八月七日夜寅の刻に大地震があった。天王寺二十一社がことごとく倒れたということである。仏法破滅の時と言うべきだろうか。
天正十三年
○梵舜記 天正十三年十一月二十九日夜半の時分に大地震が長時間続いた。明日まで同様であった。近国の浦や浜の家々は皆波に溢れて、数多くの死人が出た。その後、日々動くこと十二日間であった。晦日にも同様に大地震があり、東方で雷鳴のように響いた。これも夜半の時分であった。
十二月一日大地震、二日大地震、三日から十日まで連日地震があった。
【朱書き】《神道大護摩執行》
十一日、本所においてなお禁中で神道大護摩が執行された。二夜三日の御祈祷であった。施物三十六石が渡された。
英語訳
After seeking and recording [the divination], I heard that continuous earthquakes for days are auspicious, and aftershocks continue for seven days.
Same 7th year
○ Wachō-kyō-ki: Meiō 7th year, 8th month, 25th day, at the hour of the dragon, there was a great earthquake. In all my life, there had never been such an event. All people were terrified. According to ancient texts, this was also extraordinary, and it was said that the water god moved.
9th month, 2nd day, kinoto-hitsuji: Until tonight {{7 days?}} the earthquakes continued without end.
Eishō 7th year
○ Shūgai-ki: Eishō 7th year, 8th month, 7th day, night, at the hour of the tiger, there was a great earthquake. All twenty-one shrines of Tennōji completely collapsed. Should this be called the time of Buddhism's destruction?
Tenshō 13th year
○ Bonshun-ki: Tenshō 13th year, 11th month, 29th day, at midnight there was a great earthquake that lasted for a long time. It continued like this until the next day. In the coastal areas and beaches of nearby provinces, all houses were overwhelmed by waves and there were many deaths. Afterwards, the trembling continued daily for twelve days. On the last day of the month there was also a great earthquake that thundered toward the east. This was also at midnight.
12th month, 1st day: great earthquake; 2nd day: great earthquake; from the 3rd day to the 10th day: earthquakes continued daily.
