All the various treasures stored in countless homes flowed away in an instant. It is painful to think of this. The earthquake calamity that appeared from foreign lands during the great reign of Emperor Komatsu in ancient times must have come around again in this present age, nearly a thousand years later. The wrath of the Magatsubi deity that shakes the land and makes it resound throughout - may the great deity Ōnamuchi who created the land of reed plains, with his divine authority over the grasses, and the spirits of the Kamnaobi and Naobi deities who set things right
