一番に寝た男で、年の頃四十ばかりで、至極律義に見え、誰とも知れず、懐より紙入れを出し、いつ入れたか覚えぬ金が一分あり、「これは不思議だ。どうも あろうはずがない。いかにも合点がいかぬ」と色々に思案して、「いっそのこと、ないものにして富の札を一枚買おう。当たらぬときは、お初に上がったと思えばよし」と一枚買ってみたところ、大一番にて百両。これは
